Alex Matheson

Mr. Alex Matheson is Head of the Budgeting and Management Division in the Public Management Service(PUMA) of the OECD in Paris. For three years before that he was a Special Adviser on Public Management for the Commonwealth Sercretariat based in London. In this role, he conducted seminars and undertook consultancies in many countries, including India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Barbados, Guyana, Tanzania, etc. He specialized in matters relating to the support and strengthening of Cabinet decision-making in developing countries and he worked with the Cabinets and senior officials of seven countries. Before that he worked for 25 years in the New Zealand public service.
