Mr. Lim has been associated with the development of
information technology in Singapore since the 1970¡¯s.
He was also actively involved in the economic development
of Singapore, having served at the Economic Development
Board. He was previously a Member of the Committee on
Singapore¡¯s Competitiveness, Chairman of the Sub-Committee
on Manpower Development and Chairman of the National
Computer Board. Mr. Lim is also Minister of State for
Communications and Information Technology. He studied
electronics, computer and systems engineering at Loughborough
University of Technology in the United Kingdom and holds
an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
